God allows things to happen (I.e. evil, suffering) because He is waiting
for us to turn, repent, change our minds, and to follow His instruction.
Just like the two trees in the Garden of Eden God created the Tree of Life
and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Many wonder if God never
created the tree that was evil then there wouldn’t be temptation, but if
there were no tree of knowledge of good and evil then how would it be
free will? God has designed everything with love in mind, God is love!
If God only made the Tree of Life there wouldn’t be a choice, therefore
how could God tell if He was loved or not? If I said to you I bought
this pink and green candy but you cannot for any reason touch the
green candy. All you know is that if you do touch the green candy I am
going to be disappointed, mad, or frustrated. You say to yourself wow
she really doesn’t want me to touch that green candy and out of love
perhaps you choose the pink candy and keep going… or you could
have an attitude and choose the green candy in spite of being told do
not touch the green candy. You have a choice, right? Why is it that
our first reaction is to want the very thing we are told not to have? It’s
Like we resent being told what to do. Isn’t that the carnal mind?
What if I knew there was nuts in the green candy and I knew you were
allergic to that candy and that could harm you? Would you now say that
I was trying to protect you from the green candy? Would you come to the
assumption that it was done out of love? This probably works better in
Position of authority like a parent to a child, if the parent is loving then
They are going to protect their child. Under different conditions with a
Child who doesn’t have the allergic reaction they could have the green
Candy…so if you had another child and you were saving that green
Candy for them, now you are adding another layer of love, we would want
To save that candy for the sibling that doesn’t have allergies. So, do
We know all the reasons why God does what He does, no. Can we start
To see that in His wisdom and sovereignty He knows best? He loves us
Best?
Genesis 1-3
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface
of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God
said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.
Darkness was over the earth, it was a byproduct of making heaven and earth.
Then God made light. You wouldn’t know light without the darkness. Just like
God didn’t create hell but it was a byproduct of Lucifer and his 1/3 fallen angels
when they were casted out of heaven. God created everything because He is in
control of everything, but it wasn’t part of His original plan. Look at the times of
Noah and the LORD regretted that he had made human beings on the earth, and
his heart was deeply troubled. This is when I realized just how much our
emotions come from God. He feels deeply!!! This scripture right here is where I
would stand on when explaining to anyone that God cares. We have no idea just
how wicked humans were back then. We have coloring books of Noah, but have
you stopped to think how bad it must have been for God to flood His own creation?
Think about that. We cannot fathom that level of wicked. God promised He would
never do that again. God keeps His promises. God is slow to anger too. Look at
Pharoah and Moses. How many times did God give Pharoah a chance to let the
Israelites go? God plagued him 10 times!!!! It took killing Pharoah’s son to get
Pharaoh’s attention, because Pharoah had a hardened heart. These are
scriptures that point out how much God is waiting on us to turn our lives around.
So when we see injustices, God doesn’t want us to lose our minds, to fight about
it, no He wants us to rest in Him. We cannot rest in Him when we ask why, or when
we try to figure it out, or when we are worried about the outcome. God wants to
give us wisdom and His strategies, but we are not waiting patiently on Him. We
want answers now. But think on this…where would any of us be if God’s wrath
and judgment was unveiled right now? How would you fair? I know I need God’s
mercy, I know I need to repent at times, I know I need to pause and ask for
forgiveness, I know I need God’s grace and wisdom to keep going. The enemy
doesn’t fight fair and he is fighting for keeps…he wants death! He wants to steal
and destroy too. The enemy also knows God’s plan and he doesn’t want us to seek
God diligently to find it. If we stayed in God’s secret place, if we humbled ourselves,
focused on Him and prayed for our country, if we united as brothers and sisters in
Christ, do you know what kind of force we would be? I believe God is seeking hearts
of men to dwell! We understand that we abide in Jesus and Jesus in us, Jesus is God!
Holy Spirit was left for us that’s why we can live righteous lives, we have a spirit, soul
and body.
It is our body = earth suit and our soul = mind, will and emotions.
Our spirit = that has wisdom, communion and consciousness.
When we are conscious we are AWAKE! Is this how we are awaken in the spirit?
Hmm..that’s something for a deeper dive, I’ll put a pin in that for now.
It is our spirit that we build up in the faith. That’s why we pray and fast, to get control
over our bodies and souls. The carnal mind is in the soul; enmity of God. We can
renew our minds, the mind of Christ, we were designed for it. When we are born again,
our spirit is instantly transformed into the image of God. The spirit is that part of you
which takes on the nature of God. According to the Word, once that happens you should
immediately start the process of changing your soul. The Bible calls it “renewing the mind.”
Is anyone else following me here. To live in God’s perfect will you must renew your mind.
You must learn to live from the inside out.
This is the Holy Spirit feeding me. I am starting to see how all this is fitting together.
