FEAR OF THE LORD [part 2]

From the question: Why is the fear of the Lord the beginning of wisdom?

Instruct the wise and they will be wiser still; teach the righteous and they will add to their learning. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. For through wisdom your days will be many, and years will be added to your life. - Proverbs 9:9-11

However, the Fear of the Lord jumped out at me and I went to the handout with the candelabra and the seven Spirits - and I started seeing WISDOM (Spirit) KNOWLEDGE (Spirit) UNDERSTANDING (Spirit) and the rest of the Spirits of the Holy Spirit and I read Isaiah 11:2.

Isaiah 11:2 And the Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the Spirit of Wisdom and Understanding, the Spirit of Counsel and Might, the Spirit of Knowledge and the Fear of the Lord;

>>>Personal notes, questions and experiences:

  • We know that the Spirit of Wisdom is one of the seven Spirits of the Holy Spirit, so my question has been; how do I receive the Spirit of Wisdom?

  • When I meditate (many times) I'll see rolling colors almost wave-like or cloud-like. I see purple a lot, but I have seen other colors, rarely do I see red.

  • I have been noticing when others preach they are speaking of Spirits in pairs; like Wisdom and Understanding or Spirit of Counsel and Might...

My questions to the Lord are;

  • Is that the Spirit of Understanding revealing Himself to me?

  • Or is it an impartation of Understanding?

  • I've been wondering if I have the same posture as Solomon, as Daniel, as Paul did?

  • Am I humble enough to receive the Spirit of Wisdom?

  • Maybe I just needed that revelation (like a missing piece) - now I can ask for the Spirit of Wisdom to do the Lord's will, His Kingdom Business and so on.

I think I'm seeing something emerge..

Have you ever sensed at times you are more accurately answering a problem? But there still might be more clarity needed? It's like, what is the Holy Spirit revealing?

And if one of the seven Spirits of the Holy Spirit is The Fear of the Lord, is that where we start?

Meaning: is that the first Spirit of the Holy Spirit that we encounter literally?

>>>Moving to the other Scriptures that I came across; Job 28:28 and Proverbs 10:27.

Job 28:28 AMPCBut to man He said, Behold, the reverential and worshipful fear of the Lord—that is Wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.

Behold means 'to gaze upon' right?  We gaze upon the Spirit fear of the Lord???

Proverbs 10: 27 AMPC

The reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord prolongs one’s days, but the years of the wicked shall be made short.

Then the reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord...that sounds like He = Holy Spirit as in not a verb, or an act of fear am I right?

Also Wisdom is capitalized too; like in a name.

The Spirit of Wisdom is the mind of Christ. The following Scriptures are what he uses in his video to show us what he is saying.

1 Corinthians 2:4-10

4 My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, 5 so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power.  God’s Wisdom Revealed by the Spirit 6 We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. 7 No, we declare God’s wisdom, a mystery that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began. 8 None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 9 However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”— the things God has prepared for those who love him— 10 these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit.

James 1:5

If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.

Proverbs 2:6

For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.

Proverbs 10:8

The wise in heart accept commands, but a chattering fool comes to ruin.

Daniel 2:23

I thank and praise you, God of my ancestors: You have given me wisdom and power, you have made known to me what we asked of you, you have made known to us the dream of the king.”

The Mind of Christ(Isaiah 52:5-11)

5Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus: 6Who, existing in the form of God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,a 7but emptied Himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in human likeness. 8And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to death—even death on a cross. 9Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name above all names, 10that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

>>> Going back to what the Holy Spirit prompted me to look up:Then the pair of the Spirit of the knowledge and fear...would we have to have some knowledge to build wisdom and understanding on?

So, what if the fear of the Lord in Proverbs 9:10, is referring to the Holy Spirit?

I started thinking of Philippians 2:12

Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. [KJV]

So then, my dear ones, just as you have always obeyed [my instructions with enthusiasm], not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence, continue to work out your salvation [that is, cultivate it, bring it to full effect, actively pursue spiritual maturity] with awe-inspired fear and trembling [using serious caution and critical self-evaluation to avoid anything that might offend God or discredit the name of Christ]. [AMP]

Isaiah 9:6

For to us a Child shall be born, to us a Son shall be given; And the government shall be upon His shoulder, And His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Revelation 5:6

Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing at the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. The Lamb had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits[a] of God sent out into all the earth.

Acts 2:17-18

And it shall come to pass in the last days, God declares, that I will pour out of My Spirit upon all mankind, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy [[b]telling forth the divine counsels] and your young men shall see visions ([c]divinely granted appearances), and your old men shall dream [[d]divinely suggested] dreams. Yes, and on My menservants also and on My maidservants in those days I will pour out of My Spirit, and they shall prophesy [[e]telling forth the divine counsels and [f]predicting future events pertaining especially to God’s kingdom].

Beloved,Perhaps you will have a different revelation of these Scriptures and this could be an ongoing learning project or study...(informal or it can change depending on what the Lord is doing) but I have been excited to learn more and more. So, I look forward to your thoughts, questions, and/or revelation you receive; if and when you are led to do so, if not well the Holy Spirit knows what to do.
