GOD'S LOVE CHANGES EVERYTHING

How do we know God loves us and how it will change us?

Delight yourself in the LORD, and He will give you the desires of your heart. (Psalm 37:4)

In other words when I gain great pleasure in the LORD then He will give me the desires of my heart. The LORD being the Father and knowing if I spend time with Him and my desires and His desires are going to align or be the same. Let take this a step further. This is where relationship takes place. How do you gain great pleasure in something you don't spend time with or get to know?

When a husband and wife have spent a significant amount of time together others can see the oneness that they have. Whether in speech or actions there is something we all recognize that demonstrates outwardly that they know each other. Our relationship with the Father is much like this, the more time we spend with Him the more that Oneness is there and others see the glory of the Father through us. This is the power of God's transformation in our lives through His love.

When we choose to spend time to seek His face and we wait to hear from Him He pours out His joy, peace and freedom and miraculous things happen where the healing oil and the balm that He soothes us with loosens the grip of fear and we step into our place where all along He was pursuing and inviting us to come. We may have had our own ways of hiding and sewing fig leaves to cover up our shame, but His wrap-around presence and His provision for new garments as we abide in Christ and He in us; where He now is calling us sons and daughters because we have been adopted into His sonship. Our identity has changed and we operate in our new identity.

It is no wonder why the enemy and his camp have tried to keep us in fear, guilt and shame. It's not surprising to know he would send others to condemn us, the setup of temporary distractions that once enticed us or things that seemed like a good thing that were snares. All so that we wouldn't awaken to what the Father's Truth and we would stay stuck in our sleepy state. There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death. (Proverbs 14:12)

We are revolutionized by God's love and this is amazing, right?

We walk in this freedom and we know that no matter what God will not leave us nor forsake us like it is written in Hebrews 13:5; so now what? His commandments are; Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: Love your neighbor as yourself. (Mark 12:28–34) He commands us to love Him (with all our hearts, souls, minds and strength) and then love our neighbors. Let's bring His healing oil, His oil of joy and His love to others so that they can taste and see that the Lord is good! Psalm 34:8 also adds blessed is the one who takes refuge in Him. He is our place of safety. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1)

God knows what we need because He created us. So God created mankind in His own image, in the image of God He created them; male and female He created them. (Gen 1:27) Just like parents love their children and know their children based on their relationship with them. They know what their children need and do what they can to soothe, care and love their children. The parent first loves their child and through their relationship the child learns how to love. What is in the natural so it is in the spiritual. He loves us first like in 1 John 4:19 We love Him because He first loved us.But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6)

We see here that faith is God's love language; His love, faith and fear cannot mix; for if we fear we don't know God. When we trust God, we grow closer to God and we learn about His ways, His character and His heart. When we know God and love Him, we operate differently. We are changed! He has shown us how to love from His place of love and we can overcome fear.

There is no fear in love [dread does not exist]. But perfect (complete, full-grown) love drives out fear, because fear involves [the expectation of divine] punishment, so the one who is afraid [of God’s judgment] is not perfected in love [has not grown into a sufficient understanding of God’s love]. (1 John 4:18)

I pray that you are awakening to the truth that God loves you and that He is not disappointed in you. He wants to see you overcome! He wants you to witness His love and all the things that He has for you, but you have to first believe like in James 1:6; But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.
