Faith pleases God, to have faith is more than believing, it is trusting. Believing something is real is to think it is true. Why do we have doubts? Why is there need for us to be construction workers on our faith? What if I told you to unlock your blessings in heaven you needed to build up your road of faith? What if I showed you, the reason why you cannot explain your faith is because it was already given to you? This is just a tip of the iceberg I will go deeper in a group chat through Zoom and Google Meet in the near future. I want to teach this step-by-step so that you will build up your faith and go and teach others so they can build up their faith. I am not trying to sit on this or be like the man in Jesus' parable when the king gave him one talent and he buried it out of fear. No, I want you to get this so that you own it, memorize it, and personalize it so that you add your flavor to it and go teach others! In the Book of James, chapter 1 verses 2-8 -
2Â Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters,[a] whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3Â because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4Â Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. 5Â If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. 6Â But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7Â That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. 8Â Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.
In other translations it says But let patience have its perfect work - patience is long-suffering. When we doubt we become double-minded so God is working this out during our trials, tests and tribulations. When we doubt we create potholes in our roads. Look at Ephesians 1:3 - Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,
You might be asking yourself why am I not seeing these things happening in my life? When we doubt God will not give those things that are locked up in heaven, because in Mark 11:24 it is written: Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. We need to believe when we pray! How do we believe in something we don't know about? We need to get the knowledge of God, that's why reading the Bible is so important, we perish with the lack of knowledge. That's why we offer Bible Studies and group chats so we can learn together. Iron sharpens iron.
Learning about God is the best thing a new believer or a sage believer can do. Why? One, God wants a relationship with you, He loves you! Two, do you want to miss out on the things God has for you? The things that God gives is not temporal, they last! Three, understanding, trusting, and reverence to God will keep you in peace, covered in His protection and eternity is forever and that is a long time friend! Many miss out because they have a misconception of God. They think that God is limited in what He can do or they think He is mean and just let bad things happen to good people. When you don't understand God, you fear Him. When you realize that He designed everything with love in mind it changes your mind. I don't want to get off track here, so I will go into the many ways God loves us in another blog, chat or Zoom. Just know that He longs to have relationship and give good gifts to His children. Amen.
